Saranac Art Projects Sponsored Memberships:

Saranac Art Projects is excited to announce New Sponsored Memberships with support from Spokane Arts Grant Awards (SAGA). The gallery is accepting applications for new members. Selected artists will receive a twelve-month membership to Saranac Art Projects. At the end of the sponsored term, selected artists have the option of continuing their membership. SAP is a non-profit contemporary art cooperative, offering a venue for regional contemporary artists. This membership includes a solo exhibition and group exhibition opportunities in the gallery space at 25 W Main Street, a vibrant section of downtown Spokane. This is a great opportunity for emerging artists to experience a collaborative and supportive environment that encourages development of professional practice.

You must live in the surrounding region of Spokane WA. We welcome submissions from artists who live in Eastern Washington or North & Central Idaho, however you must be able to fulfill the requirements. Our priority is the quality of the work, if you live more than an hour away, we can make some adjustments to work with your availability and schedule.

Membership requirements are:
Commit to one year of participation
Gallery sitting
Monthly meetings
Community outreach
Participate in gallery duties: maintenance and management

Portfolio (10 – 20 images of current work – with title, media, dimensions, year)

Send PDF file that includes images and information
Send a link to artist website (must include all info)
Send a link to shared drive (dropbox, google drive, oneDrive, etc)

IMPORTANT DATES:
DEADLINE: April 30, 2018 – artists will be notified by April 15, 2018
Membership starts for accepted applications MAY 2018
